Browse our curated portfolio of verified properties from trusted Ghanaian developers. Every listing has undergone title verification, independent valuation, and legal review. Our team helps you find the right match for your budget and goals.

Step 3.Full Application & Documents

Complete your mortgage application with employment verification, income documentation, asset statements, and identification. Our secure document portal uses bank-grade encryption to protect your information.

Step 4.Underwriting & Credit Review

Our underwriting team reviews your complete financial profile. We verify income through U.S./Canadian employment records, assess creditworthiness, and calculate debt-to-income ratios using standards appropriate for diaspora borrowers.

Step 5.Ghana-Side Verification

Simultaneously, our Ghana-based partners conduct independent property valuation, thorough title search through the Lands Commission, and legal review of all property documentation. Nothing moves forward until every check clears.

Step 6.Insurance Binding

Property insurance is bound with the lender named as first beneficiary and loss payee. This protects both your investment and the mortgage. We work with licensed Ghanaian insurance providers who meet our underwriting standards.

Step 7.Approval & Closing

Upon final approval, we prepare mortgage documents that comply with both Ghanaian land law and international lending standards. You sign digitally, funds are disbursed, and title is registered with the lender's interest noted.

Step 8.Servicing & Ownership

After closing, Akwaaba manages your mortgage servicing — payment processing, escrow management, and annual insurance renewals. You receive regular statements and have access to your borrower dashboard at all times.
